Board Member, InfiNet Wireless CTO Igor Akulov is a Board Member and Chief Technology Office of InfiNet Wireless. Mr. Akulov graduated from the Ural Polytechnical Institute in 1988 majoring in Electric Machines and Automated Control Systems. He was a founder of AquA Labs in 1993. Under his leadership, the first Wired Routers and Access Server were created under the AquA brand. These routers became core elements of the UCNC SkyMAN networks, the very first wireless Metropolitan Area Network created in the former Soviet Union markets. This key early development also led to the creation of the first embedded router of the "Revolution" series which shortly was incorporated into the new InfiNet Wireless router family. He has led the R&D team and efforts for InfiNet Wireless since 1998 and has been the key driver of the InfiNet VoIP-enabled wireless routers and the creation of InfiNet's VoIP product line. Since his appointment as Chief Technology Office of InfiNet Wireless in 2003, Mr. Akulov has been supervising all WiMAX product initiatives at InfiNet Wireless. |
