InfiNet Wireless announces new 3.5 GHz Broadband Wireless Solutions at Worldwide Partners’ Conference
London, UK: 18th June, 2010 - InfiNet Wireless, a leading global manufacturer and provider of carrier-grade wireless infrastructure solutions for Fixed Broadband Wireless Access (FBWA) and Wireless Connectivity, has announced details of the latest additions to its wireless product portfolio aimed at offering a complete set of solutions in the licensed 3.5GHz spectrum. This announcement was made exclusively to its partner base at the recently held worldwide Partner Conference in Antalya, Turkey.
InfiNet Wireless’s new solutions encompass a completely new range of Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint MIMO solutions operating in the frequency range between 3.4 and 3.7 GHz. This is an extension of its already successful InfiLINK 2x2 product family which operates in both LOS (line-of-sight) and NLOS (non-line-of-sight) environments and supports high-performance wireless connectivity of up to 300 Mbps. The new solutions have been specifically designed for wireless service providers all over the world who have already acquired WiMAX licences, and will give them the ability to deploy more efficient and scalable networks for data, video and voice. In addition to providing even higher performance than existing solutions InfiNet Wireless 3.5 GHz products also provide a significant increase in spectral efficiency as well as a number of built-in tools aimed at providing more flexible network planning, thus allowing each service provider to maximise the use of their licence.
The 3.5 GHz solutions will be globally available from July 2010 and will offer InfiNet’s partners the ability to compete for business in segments of the market that until now were inaccessible to them.
