By popular demand from leading ISP’s, Operators and channel partners, InfiNet Wireless has now launched two new affordable MIMO subscriber devices or CPE’s, namely the Smc and Lmc. This latest addition to InfiNet Wireless’ portfolio extends our range of solutions and allows our partners to offer a high-capacity wireless infrastructure with up to 35 Mbps of performance at the subscriber’s end, whilst maintaining an unrivalled and highly desirable cost/performance ratio. Already claiming the market’s highest capacity and best spectral efficiency a MIMO base station can offer, coupled with offerings of 50 Mbps and 35 Mbps net capacity for the subscribers, the InfiMAN 2x2 product family provides best-in-class value proposition for various applications from video surveillance to connectivity for medium and large enterprises in various industry sectors.

The key benefit that can be derived from the InfiMAN 2x2 solution is its lower cost of operation and ownership resulting from the use of our industry-leading base station performance with best-in-class spectral efficiency and feature set. With increased bitrate and coverage ranges, each base station can support more high-speed subscriber locations than ever before, thus significantly reducing capital expenditure on network infrastructure.

Our CPE solutions are not limited in any way by channel widths nor bitrates and are able to operate in any radio mode, at the same time minimizing the overheads for all communications between the base station and the CPE’s. Moreover and as result of Infinet Wireless’ innovative features, users will experience less degradation at the base station even if the number of CPE’s per sector increases.

Another major feature of our solution is the significant increase of packets-per-second ratio. The InfiMAN 2x2 system uses InfiNet’s traditionally rich feature set of networking services such as RIPv2/OSPFv2/static routing, multipool NAT, DHCP client/server/relay, IP-firewall, IP-over-IP and Ethernet-over-IP tunneling and Level 3 QoS with 16 priority queues, traffic shaping and 802.1p support.

Available in multiple frequency bands (from 2.3 to 2.7 GHz, and 4.8 to 6.4 GHz), the InfiMAN 2x2 solutions are capable of delivering Fast Ethernet data, voice and video over ultra long distances.
