InfiNet Wireless Announces Family of High-Capacity Point-to-Point Link Solutions:

InfiNet Wireless, a leading global designer and manufacturer of wireless infrastructure solutions for Broadband Wireless Access, WiMAX, and Mesh networks, announced today the global launch of the new InfiLINK 2x2 product family. Solutions based on the InfiLINK 2x2 family will include a comprehensive range of modules aimed at satisfying the needs of a variety of service providers requiring high-capacity FastEthernet backhaul links for speeds up to 300 Mbps. In addition, the InfiLINK 2x2 family also includes TDM transport units capable of 4 E1 streams.

InfiLINK 2x2 key customer benefits combine industry-leading speed-to-range ratios with best-in-class spectral efficiency and feature set. Reaching real throughputs of more than 100 Mbps in just 20 MHz of spectrum and 100 Mbps full-duplex in 40 MHz of spectrum, marks a quantum leap in high-speed wireless solutions. The company predicts that the InfiLINK 2x2 product offering will revolutionize the link industry worldwide by setting a new standard for speed-to-range performance for backhaul applications for WISP, municipalities, large corporate industry as well as major telco carriers.

TDM transport will also be supported by the new InfiLINK 2x2 product family for capacity up to 4 E1 streams. Units are housed in a standard 19" 1U enclosure and are presented in two options with 2 E1/T1 ports or 4 E1/T1 ports. New TDM transport units can be purchased as a part of InfiLINK 2x2 Point-to-Point backhaul package as well as separately to upgrade previously installed Point-to-Point links.
