10 June 2005

InfiNet Wireless announced today its release of 3 new wireless router products to supplement its growing wireless product portfolio. These latest products represent a new family of low-cost CPE devices for fixed Broadband Wireless Access (BWA). They are ideally suited for high-speed voice & data Internet access for SOHO, Small-Medium Enterprise, and Residential customers in both point-to-point backhaul and point-to-multipoint access networks.

The new product launch includes the following models:

- IW5000-S model (outdoor) available for 5.1-5.9 GHz (with integrated antenna)
- IWR5000-L model (outdoor) available for 2.3-2.4GHz and 4.9-6.0 GHz
- IWR5000-IL model (indoor) available for 2.3-2.4GHz band
According to Mr. Robert H. Stubblebine, CEO of Infinet Wireless, “These new low-cost CPE devices are a perfect and long sought-after solution for a growing number of small-to-medium-sized ISP and WISP around the world. Indeed, we have ISP in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and even the United States which have been looking for exactly this type of solution for over 6 months. About InfiNet Wireless:
InfiNet Wireless is a leading global vendor of Last Mile connectivity solutions utilizing Fixed Broadband Wireless Access (FBWA) and emerging WiMAX technologies. InfiNet Wireless’ leading-edge wireless routing products represent over 10 years of intense engineering efforts by our world-class Russian development laboratories coupled with extensive field experience in design and deployment of thousands of wireless carrier-class networks successfully operating in many countries of Europe, Russia, China, SE Asia and the Middle East.
In the early 1990’s, InfiNet Wireless was one of the first companies in the world to pioneer broadband wireless access technologies to create Metropolitan Area Networks. These earlier wireless data networks provided bi-directional information data exchanges between the subscribers and the ISP. InfiNet Wireless quickly established a clear leadership position in fixed wireless installations in Russia and today maintains a dominant market share of over 65% of all BWA networks. Over 250 large carrier networks in Russia's major cities and key geographies have been built with InfiNet routers. Our technological leadership and successes in Eastern Europe quickly led to deployments in other Emerging Markets. Strong demand for our products in China, India, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Poland, Italy, Spain and the United States verify the strong and growing requirement for these products worldwide.
