InfiNet Wireless SkyMAN™ NG universal wireless platform to be showcased in live demonstration of integrated public safety and WI-FI network

Boston, Massachusetts - InfiNet Wireless, a global provider of Broadband Wireless Access and pre-WiMAX equipment for last mile connectivity for private and public networks, today announced that its cutting-edge broadband wireless access equipment will be featured as part of a live demonstration of an integrated community broadband wireless network serving both Wi-Fi public access and public safety needs at the Broadband Wireless Conference for Public Safety and Public Access in Riverside, California. The event, which will take place on November 8th, is being held in conjunction with a partnership formed by InfiNet Wireless, Lockheed Martin Information Technology, Public Safety Broadband and WiFi-CityWide.

The one day conference will feature a live demonstration of an integrated public safety mesh network, Wi-Fi public access network and mesh backhaul network running on the new SkyMAN™ NG universal platform from InfiNet Wireless, which will enable fixed and mobile broadband wireless access for WiMAX, Mesh and Wi-Fi networks in a single platform. The applications showcased will include a three mile in-car 4.9 GHz police test track, wireless video surveillance, streaming video from police vehicles and helicopters, and much more.
